Mother's Day

Mother's Day and Teacher Appreciation Day is rapidly upon us.  Of course I want to express my gratitude towards my mother for not killing me as a snotty, moody teen.  And I had/have many teachers in my life who were patient enough to teach me all kinds of things despite my stubborn independence.  I also just want to make a quick suggestion that as you're out there seeking the perfect gift for your Mom, Grandmother, Aunt, etc, and/or a teacher check out this bracelet by Farrielledesign or any possible product made from the photos taken by Melanie Hofmann, these photos of amazing hummingbirds can be transferred onto mugs, calendars, T-shirts and such.  All proceeds from the bracelet and 1/3 of the proceeds from Melanie's photos go back to the ISSV™ which in turn takes that money and treats survivors of sexual violence and trains more clinical professionals in Rapid Resolution Therapy® and those certified in RRT agree to provide pro bono services to survivors who otherwise could not afford such treatment.  These are gifts that keep on giving!
