The 411 part 3

Who can benefit from RRT? Well just about anyone.  Now Dr. Jon Connelly works with all kinds of people with many types of concerns.  I'm going to speak to what I have and continue to be successful with and have experience with.  (Different therapists work better with certain issues and just innately attract different types of people)
Anxiety
Panic Attacks
Guilt/Shame
Grief
Post Traumatic Stress
Anger/Resentment
Trauma (of all kinds)
Self-destructive behaviors
Weight management (my clients tell me getting their "stuff"cleared has opened new pathways towards being healthier and loosing weight)

My little niche' in the RRT world is survivors of sexual violence, women and men, adolescents and adults.  But it's not the only thing I do in my RRT office.

Be well, Be happy-
Tara S. Dickherber, LPC

What about family issues and broken ties. Family very disfunctional. We are in crisis and a time when we should have come together.... we have divided.

I work with individuals only. I do find that as I work with individuals their improved mental health then effects their family as well. At times it has even resulted in other family members coming in to see me, which greatly improves the family as a whole. Even when that doesn't happen clients have told me that their loved ones see a change in the, and that they are not only able to cope better with such dysfunction but that in getting healthy it starts new and better family relationships.

Thank you. I will talk to my husband about setting something up. I am just at a loss and do not know what to do or who to turn to. I have lost my rock.
