Help is out there

As I'm out there trying to reach and heal as many survivors of sexual violence as I can the implications, social stigma, and everything else that surrounds survivors seems very overwhelming to them and myself.  The laws and how they are spelled out and written can infuriate me.  How organizations handle survivors speaking out is sometimes ridiculous.

I'm not a law maker, have no desire to be one.  I have no desire to go back to school and become a lawyer.  I'm very passionate about healing and transforming the lives of any and all clients that walk through my office door.  In an effort to reach more and more people I have become active in a Women's organization.  In doing so I have come across and AMAZING organization here in the St. Louis area.  It's called the Jane Doe Advocacy Center.  They provide legal services focused on public health and sexual violence.  Seriously AMAZING organization.  I am now in the process of becoming a volunteer for that organization.

They have a website: www.janedoeadvocacy.org  and a Facebook page: www.facebook.com/JaneDoeAdvocacy

They are a not-for-profit organization providing legal services to survivors of sexual violence and domestic violence.  Donations are welcomed!!
