In my last post I noted how my education and my experience had left me with the theory that clients were broken, and choose to stay stuck in a bad situation. It was the "client's responsibility" to get better. I could help them bu giving support, encouragement, and empathy. But in the end they had to do the hard work, dig deep, and get to the "root of the problem" all on their own while I sat back passively and supported them.
Well I know differently now. Yes clients are amazingly smart, and have everything they need inside of them fr life to be joyful and clear. Who they are, their essence, is light, peace, and energy. What the real problem is, is that their mind has been working in a problematic way. And it's my responsibility to get that cleared, fixed, changed, updated, tweeked, what ever you want to call it. Yes you heard me right, it's MY responsibility. When you go to the mechanic's to get your car tuned up or repaired do you expect them to stand by and support you while you take their tools and try to fix your engine? Heck NO! They have the training and experience to fix your car right, that's why you pay them. Right? That's what all my training in RRT has given me, the knowledge, experience, expertise, and determination to eliminate the problematic way a client's mind has been working.
Think of this, a hammer is a pretty simple tool. Pretty difficult to break or damage. However if it does break most likely you're going to have to just buy a new and start over. A computer, on the other hand, is complex and prone to glitches and problems. In fact you receive patches for software problems regularly and you hit the button and the computer updates that software. The human brain is MORE complex than a computer and thus is prone to glitches. Like software glitches. It needs tuning up just like a car does. Now drop that computer, or have some virus invade it and then you've experienced a really traumatic event for a computer. Now you really need a computer expert to clean up the hard drive and clear out the virus. Drive a car and get into an automobile expert and now you need not only a mechanic but a body shop too. That's like a really traumatic event for a car. Well people experience trauma too. Little traumas and big traumas. So like your computer and car you need a specialist/expert to tune things up and clear them out. Guess what? That's my job, my professional life's purpose. I love getting that stuff done for people.
I used to just sit back and let the client guide sessions, let them "make choices," or even sometimes refer them out because "their problem" was too big for me. Not Any More! I know there are times, and I have experienced this recently, that I need someone more experienced in RRT to help me clear something for a client.
Bottom line the human brain is prone to glitches and with Rapid Resolution Therapy those glitches can be repaired and the person can then face life with amazing clarity!

It is a revolution... it is almost like the old way of doing therapy was like throwing scalpels with a blindfold on hoping to shake an issue loose but often it did more harm than good. With RRT we are going precisely to the place in the mind where stuff is stuck and removing it for good. This is a flipping revolution and I am glad that RRT has been introduced so that those in our field can finally starting to see how to treat the mind in a way that accounts for its complexities.
