My EMDR friend

So as a Certified Rapid Resolution Therapist in Missouri I have few cohorts to consult with who also do RRT. In fact here's only 2 Certified RRT therapists in Missouri at this time and the other person lives 4 hours away from me. Now I do have many other friends who are counselors or social workers. We do utilize each other as professional sounding boards. OK honestly I don't sound off with my friends because how we go about the work we do is very different. However my friends do utilize me as a sounding board. (In fact recently two friends just told me I should charge for such services...that's a thought!)
Anyways...This week a friend called needed a professional second opinion, and I'm well known for being opinionated. I listened, I gave feedback. Professional issues resolved. She then asked if I could help her with her husband. I laughed and asked what in particular was she talking about. (Now this friend in a Certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapist. She has told me one can do EMDR to themselves, yet she has rarely mentioned doing EMDR to herself.) She tells me what's bothering her, and being the RRT therapist I am I come from a diferent school of thought on what is driving her husband's emotions and behaviors. This lead into a conversation about her father, again I came from the RRT side of my brain and explained his behaviors and reactions. Which lead to her reporting new insight into those men in her life and telling me, "Ya know your really smart!" I chuckled. Mostly because I find it interesting that an EMDR therapist (EMDR gets more respect in the counseling world right now than RRT does) seeks out counseling from an RRT therapist.
Would I be too bold to say Rapid Resolution Therapy is trumping EMDR??
