I'm honored

I had mentioned in a post previously I have been calling past Rapid Resolution Therapy clients to just check in. Most have been doing well. In fact two said they were Grrrreat. And then a week later one of those two called and asked if he could schedule an appointment to come in. He lives in a very small town in a small county and has a job that puts him in the public eye. He's in a position where going to others about his personal problems is not really the greatest idea. As he put it, he just needed to check in with someone about some personal things.
Our session was just under 2 hours. Most of the first hour was about all these amazing things that have been going on for him. He's had a few bumps in the road, but dealt with them with complete clarity. In fact when he got into the bumps that were more than bumps for him it was, for me the counseling professional, really minor things. Especially in comparison to the very large emotional issues we had tackled previously. So I did my thing and cleared up the two points where he was stuck emotionally and sent him on his way.
Now you ask why the title of I'm honored? For one I'm honored to be the person he wants to come to talk about all the amazing things that have happened to him since his emotional slate has been cleared. And two I'm honored that he trusts the work I do with Rapid Resolution Therapy enough to come back when he's hit a bump in the road he needs help with.

Be well, Be happy-Tara S. Dickherber, M.Ed, CPCDigg!
