Halloween
You may not celebrate Halloween, or maybe you've never heard of it. Halloween is my favorite, non-national holiday. I was Vice President of the Drama Club when I was in high school, thus I love the fact at Halloween it's OK to dress up like something your not. My husband and I used to get invited to this FUN Costume Party every year around Halloween. One year my husband was a suitcase and I was an airline baggage handeler, the next he was Heff and I was a Playboy Bunny, and then yet another year he was an Angel and I was a pretty darn cute devil. On Halloween you can go to complete stangers houses and they will give you candy just for ringing their doorbell. What's REALLY REALLY fun is my friend David is like the biggest fan of Halloween so he takes at least a day off to get his house ready. When I say ready...he's a software programmer. He has written his own program with scarey music, motion sensor and a "cellar" that the doors rattle and things jump out of it when Trick or Treaters come to the door. What's truly funny is the Moms are more scared than the little kids. So tonight I will be at David's house, with his family, and mine watching those neiborhood Moms pee their pants! Yes I have a sick and twisted side...bring on the chocolate!
