6 things the blogging world doesn't know about me

I have been tagged by one of my Twitter Moms friends, cgccoach, thus I'm next in this Twitter game of tag.
1) I have a tattoo that I designed. However the tattoo artist was really negative and complained about her employer while inking me. I plan to get another one in honor of my daughter. I like getting tattoos, it feels like a really deep tissue massage, to me.
2) At 15 I was hit by a Ford Ranger and slid on my face for 20 feet. I did not break a bone nor did I need plastic surgery. I believe in miracles, that was a HUGE miracle, from the Universe, that I didn't die. In junior high I was bit by an attack dog. Had he not opened his mouth before moving back I would have lost my entire thigh muscle. I believe in miracles!
3) My sister, when I was young, befriended a man from Muscat, Oman. He became part of our family, basically. (Oman is a country to the east of Saudi Arabia) When I was in college he flew me over to "visit." I arrived and a day later found out he planned to keep me in Oman and marry me. He offered to buy me a Porsche, any jewelry I wanted, and had found me a job working with some high end Arab horse breeder. My family made up a BIG lie and convinced him to send me home, never to return. So true it's hard to believe huh?
4) I hate wadded up straw wrappers. They make me physically ill. Why you ask? It reminds me of disgusting spit wads that got aimed at me in school.
5) I started college in London, England majoring in Fashion Design. I finished under graduate with a double major in Equestrian Science and Psychology. I know A LOT about horses. Pretty much what I can not do is surgery, birth a foal, and trim their feet. I have trained horses, bred them, taught riding lessons for the abled and disabled, and the first year I showed horses I was the National Champion in the style of riding I did for the age group I was in. I do not show now and plan to keep it that way. I do continue to own a horse and I am in love with fashion, not that you can tell by my everyday wear of T-shirts and jeans.
6) I am a counselor and Life Coach but I am actually very shy in person and prefer the company of a few friends, family, and my pets.
*Bonus* 7) I met my husband on Yahoo Personals. I had a list of 20 things I wanted in the ideal man, he had 19. I'm still waiting for him to get butt implants!
