Yes that fast

Recently I saw a client going through a brutal divorce from a brutally abusive man.  This was in fact her 3rd session, previously we had worked on her anxiety and panic attacks, then her sadness revolving around what she hadn't been able to accomplish before now, and this last session was about getting over her soon to be ex.  Well a few days after her session I ran into her.  She was smiling, laughing, talking about up coming legal things related to custody and the divorce and stated since her last session she now had fight and determination to get through this legal battle.  Yes, what we do in RRT is that fast.
Let me tell you about another client I saw this week, actually 2 clients.  Husband and wife.  Less than 24 hours prior to seeing me the one had learned from the other that that person had just ended a year long affair.  So I saw each of them individually, took care of the painful, powerful emotions that had kept them awake and unable to eat for about 24 hours.  Ran into the wife a few days after their sessions.  She told me that when they left they both looked at each other and stated "If it hadn't been for that woman I would have probably killed you."  And proceeded to go home, eat sleep, and the next day go on a much needed date.  Yes you heard me right...date!  They are in fact following up with a marriage counselor (something I do not do!)
And this morning I woke up to yet another e-mail from a previous client saying thank you for the work we did, I'm doing well.
So if your wondering why RRT?  Or why train in RRT?  Because it's that fast...
