I realized though that I need to back track and revisit part of my training. I am a ScreamFree Parent Leader. Have been for several years. Which means somewhere on that website I'm listed. Recently a couple contacted me because of that listing/training that I have. They drove 2 1/2 hours to come see me so that could seek a new path to better parenting. In Screamfree we learn that our own issues effect our parenting. Which lends it's self right into my love for RRT. Both came in eager for answers and solutions. It quickly became apparent where the problematic emotional stuff was getting in the way. And also how it was effecting their children, even to a very slight extent their marriage. So I did what I know I was born to do, I cleared up those problematic emotional things. Both were amazed and extremely grateful for the changes that happened and the new outlook on their family. I gave them further suggestions to help continue them on this amazing journey of positive parenting. I shook their hands, and as I shook Mom's hand she pulled me in and gave me this big, totally unexpected hug. She hugged me with her whole being full of gratitude, light, and joy. Even typing this brings me to tears. There are two children out there that are blessed with enlightened loving parents, and I got to be a part of that.
It has always been my desire to heal families. Until Screamfree Parenting & Rapid Resolution Therapy I didn't know where to begin let alone how to facilitate such dramatic changes in children and parents. So that's what I plan to keep on doing, healing families. And if eventually I can afford to get paid in big, amazing, joy filled hugs I will reach my wildest dreams. (Now I have to convince my mortgage company to accept hugs vs $$$)
Anxiety, depression, anger and other problematic emotions can create big problems in the person, and their family- why not let an RRT therapist clear those up so the whole family can come from a place of clarity, peace, and joy??
