Overhaul sessions

Rapid Resolution Therapy lends itself very well to "block sessions." Where in traditional counseling you meet with your therapist for an hour, say every week; with RRT you can easily do a "session" that is 2-6 hours long. Thus it is called a block session.
However, after my latest block session I think they need to be called overhaul sessions. A client I had worked with previously, recently had a minor trauma in her life that opened up an emotional wound. Since she was coming in from out of town we agreed to schedule on a day she had off and just keep going till I got it all cleared up for her. And I was successful. Now this session ended up being 4 hours long, in the end she asked for me to try to "push her buttons" and "trigger" her emotions- such as depression, anxiety, anger, and guilt. I tried. Seriously I tried really hard to get those triggers to be set off...Nothing!
I basically just worked through each "negative" emotion that came along. When that one was cleared up we moved to the next until I could no longer push her buttons so to speak. In short I overhauled her emotional traumas till there was nothing left. In the end she was sooo thankful and I was so excited that through Rapid Resolution Therapy I was able to make this possible for her.
