Teen Journey Weekend @ Weloki

Was SOOO awesome. I started @ Camp Weloki in the summer of 2006. I have done 1 week long summer camp and three teen journey weekends. I love every experience but this last one was amazing. The teens were ready to take control and move forward in their life, the counselors were not only great to work with but we were so ready to let the teens take that control and guide them through the process.
Camp Weloki is unlike any other camp you may have attended or sent your own child through. It's a place for them to go, express themselves, get feedback about their life and choices, and learn to become healthy, self-directed kids as well as adults. I'm always so impressed by the kids (I say kids because Weloki has amps for grade schoolers through high school) that have attended because their emotional maturity is so high compared to other kids. Their maturity and willingness to take responsibility for their actions is amazing. In fact many of the counselors were once campers. Camp Weloki touches people forever, in a really great way. Check them out...it may mak a HUGE difference for a kid you know...
