Camp Weloki

This afternoon I will be heading off to volunteer my time as a camp counselor. A camp counselor for my most favorite camp, Camp Weloki. It stands for We Love Kids. I hated camp the few times I went, but Camp Weloki didn't exist in that time. I wish it had. Weloki would have given me a lot of tools and skills. Now though I get to be counselor and gives kids a chance to learn those tools and skills early. So wish me well, and more so the teens who are coming to share their story!
Be well, Be happy-

Loved your mother's day post and then this one REALLY grabbed me. I could feel your commitment and excitement. And I thought, "Wow, what a great camp counselor she will make. The kids will LOVE her." I honestly thought that and it's true. You are giving a great gift and will probably be rewarded in wonderful ways by the interactions you have with the kids. It's an important need you fill. You could change the course of lives. All it takes is one caring person.

Thank you for doing this and doing it with such passion. Hugs, Robin
