My Mini-vacation
I went on a mini-vacation for two and a half days. It was a vacation I didn't plan, hadn't expected, didn't need to pack for, and cost me nothing. It was wonderful. I was able to disconnect from most of the outside world and focus on myself and my family. I got to bed early and took a few naps. I ate well and rested better. Everyone, even the cat seemed to enjoy our unexpected mini-vaca. However it was mildly angst ridden to due it being unexpected. Now I know someone will want to know where we went and how this came about. Our vacation? The internet went down and we couldn't go on line. We couldn't check our e-mail or gmail, I couldn't work on my blog or website. It's such an odd feeling to not have internet. It's disturbing to some extent yet exhilarating in other ways because you can disconnect from the big, wide, world and focus on what's going on locally, in your own house. Initially I was anxious and then I decided it was a vacation handed to me by the Universe to allow me time with my family with few distractions. So many thanks to the Universe.
